James Madison Porter Society
Since 1997 Lafayette College has recognized the commitment and generosity of those alumni and friends whose bequests or life income gifts ensure the future of the College and advance the quality of a Lafayette education. In celebration of their philanthropy, all alumni and friends who have made planned gifts-regardless of their size-are welcomed into the James Madison Porter Society. By publishing the names of these donors, we would like to thank them publicly and encourage other members of the College community, inspired by their foresight, to follow their lead.
Today, over 500 society members honor James Madison Porter, a leader among the citizens of Easton who helped found the College. If you have already included Lafayette in your estate plans and wish to add your name to the list of Society members call the Office of Gift Planning, (610) 330-5943.
